Founded in 2007, DIG+CO. grew out of a small handmade basement business. Nici Holt Cline began hand-stitching fabric scraps on thrifted clothing when she was pregnant with her first child. She eventually dusted off her sewing machine — a Singer Featherweight that she had inherited from her grandma several years prior — and taught herself to sew and alter secondhand baby clothes. She shared her process and writings online.

Today Dig remains based in the mountains of western Montana. We are committed to designing and making homegoods of exceptional quality and beauty, made to use well and last for generations. Our online marketplace includes the handwork of other artists. We also develop classes and connect with our growing online community of adventurous people. The focus and intention of dig has always been about digging into creativity, community and exploration. From those first hand-stitched onesies to online classes we teach today:

everything we make,
everything we write,
everything we sell,
everything we give

CONNECTION, ADVENTURE, EXPERIENCE

you and me

Based in the mountains of western Montana, DIG+CO. nurtures connection and adventure. We love sharing our homesteady knowledge and champion makers committed to high craft and celebrate artful objects that invoke ritual. From forged garden tools to plant-based skin care to handmade kitchen tools to unique camp supplies -- here, you can count on things made to be used earnestly, and to last a long long time.

We know because we try everything out before we sell it.
